Music Road Resort Breakfast

Looking for places to eat in Gatlinburg? We’ve got a couple great choices for breakfast and lunch.

Mama’s Farmhouse—Southern cookin’ served family style in a farmhouse environment. When you’re in the Smoky Mountain and Pigeon Forge area and looking for real home cooking, Mama’s Farmhouse is the place to go. They serve up family style breakfast, lunch, and dinner in an all-you-can-eat style. There is no menu, so just sit down and eat! To top that off, if your kids are five or under, they will eat free.

Just to get you started for breakfast, you can expect pinwheels, fresh fruit, sausage patties, chicken tenders, cheese grits, hash brown casserole, biscuits, gravy and so much more!

Lunch and dinner are both served on rotation and here are some your favorites: soup or salad, biscuits, fried chicken, country fried steak, turkey n’ stuffing and meatloaf.

There are so many sides to choose from, and of course, desserts like banana pudding, peach cobbler or chocolate cookies—yum!

For your next family reunion let them cook for you, it’s their specialty!

Pancake Pantry—After becoming the first pancake house in Tennessee in 1960, visitors have been making this stop a family tradition in Gatlinburg. Of course everything is made from scratch, and the fresh whipped cream and real butter doesn’t hurt either! They don’t just serve breakfast. They know you’re hungry for a midday brunch and those afternoon snacks. Besides many types of pancakes, they also serve up all the other goodies for breakfast like eggs, side orders, waffles, omelettes, juices, and other beverages.

Now, for that hungry afternoon. They will treat you with burgers, gourmet sandwiches and soups and salads. If you love a great burger, how about the Blue Ribbon Hamburger, the All American Beefburger, a Viennaburger, Veggieburger, or Black Jack Burger?

The gourmet sandwiches they prepare are the Continental, Dutch Diplomat, Polynesian Delight, French Royale Club, Smoky Mountain Grilled Ham and Cheese, Polish Aristocrat, British Dipper, and Southern Chicken Grill sandwich. For a lighter lunch, you can pick a homemade soup like mushroom and barley, split green pea, or Provincial French Onion and pair it with a gourmet grilled Swiss cheese sandwich.
