The Smoky Mountains really come alive during the Annual Smoky Mountain Winterfest Celebration, this year they’re celebrating 30 years! Starting now through February 17, 2020, you can experience the Winterfest Driving Tour of Lights in Pigeon Forge, TN. There, you’ll see more than five million lights strewn all around Pigeon Forge. From Smoky Mountain wildlife to trees, ornaments, and fairytale characters, you’re bound to see a magnificent display of shimmering lights everywhere you look!
If that’s not enough to get you into the Christmas spirit, step aboard the Gatlinburg Winter Magic Trolley Ride of Lights! Beginning November 22 through January 25, 2020, enjoy millions of sparkling holiday lights on an exciting trolley ride around Gatlinburg. A special costumed storyteller will serve as your guide, as you journey through downtown and nearby East Parkway and take in all of the beautiful light displays. You’ll also enjoy complimentary hot cocoa provided by Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies and will receive a special Christmas token to commemorate your experience. I always wanted to go to pigeon forge for the Christmas lifjrs and dolly stampede just never seem to afford it
We use to stay in a cabin, but you’ll have went up to high on price of them. I would love to live up there. Been coming to the mountains since 1952.
