Dolly Parton's Stampede during Christmastime

Pigeon Forge is the place to be if you’re looking for quality entertainment with a focus on Christmas this season. There are plenty of Christmas shows and specials from area favorites.

Christmas at Dolly Parton’s Stampede—The entire arena is transformed into a winter wonderland with fir trees, holiday greenery, costumes, and familiar holiday music. Elves from the North and South Poles compete while serving up a fabulous four-course meal. There is also a live nativity with angels, wise men on camels, and of course, baby Jesus. The show runs through January 2nd.

Christmas at the Smoky Mountain Opry—Performers, singers, ice skaters, and acrobats flood the venue with a first class entertainment experience the whole family will enjoy. The show will bring World Champion ice skaters Marco Del Zotto and Samantha Delgado to the state-of-the-art rink. Experience the real meaning of Christmas as dozens of cast members recreate the nativity with music, songs, and even angels. The show runs through January 3rd.

The Christmas Story at Biblical Times Dinner Theater—Through the end of December you can witness the message of Christ through the eyes of Simeon. Holographic technology is utilized with live performers, leaving you to wonder what is real. Enjoy a seven-item feast as you also are entertained with Southern gospel, hymns, contemporary music, and patriotic music.

The Comedy Barn Christmas—If you’re not in the Christmas spirit by the end of this show, you might not be human. Experience laughs like never before with knee-slapping comedy acts for Christmas. See amazing animals, listen to music, view holiday decorations throughout the theater, and have a night you’ll never forget. The shows are nightly at 8:15pm with matinees every Saturday and daily during peak seasons. They are closed on Christmas Eve and open on Christmas.

The Hatfield & McCoy Christmas Disaster Dinner Show—You might appreciate your in-laws a bit more this year after watching this dysfunctional family try to set aside their differences in the spirit of the season. You’ll be sure to enjoy the holiday singing, dancing, stunts, and the comedy. They have three shows from December 22nd through the 31st: 2pm, 5pm and 8pm. They will have special Christmas Eve and Christmas Day showings at 2pm and 6pm on Christmas Eve and no matinee on Christmas Day.
