In the early 1970s, Kevin Pipes (Founder of the company) and John Parker started off their business by selling pocketknives out of the back of their trucks. Eventually, over the course of the decade, they created a strong bond with their clients and suppliers. Consequently, Smoky Mountain Knife Works was officially established in 1978.

Located at the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Smoky Mountain Knife Works proudly proclaims itself to be the “World’s largest knife showplace”. This 108,000-square-foot Sevierville, Tennessee retail store showcases an extensive collection of knives and outdoor gear. Not only that, cutlery, relics, souvenirs, and mounts. Indeed we carry every major brand including Case, Buck, Benchmade, Esee, Gerber, CRKT, Spyderco, SOG, Kershaw, Microtech, Victorinox, Schrade, and Henckels. You will find exactly what you’re looking for!
