Ole Smoky Distillery - The Island in Pigeon Forge

Appalachia is full of rich history, tasty food, and great music. While you’re enjoying the Smokies, we encourage you to get out and appreciate the live music many destinations offer. Here are our picks for Southern and country music.

Dollywood

Seen on the Home & Family show on Hallmark Channel, award-winning male quartet The Kingdom Heirs present their greatest hits of Southern gospel. Performing since the 1980s, they got their start in the Silver Dollar City theme park, which is now Dollywood. They are performing at the Showstreet Palace Theater through October 29, 2016.

From September 30 through October 29, Dollywood hosts their 2016 Harvest Celebration music festival (free with admission to Dollywood), so you can listen to new music from various groups throughout the park.

Playing regularly through January 1, 2017, you can enjoy bluegrass music at the Showstreet Gazebo with the Smoky Mountain String Band. Kerry, Sonny, Ashley, and Jerry will make your ears dance as they play on the bass, banjo, fiddle, and guitar.

Check Dollywood’s daily schedule for up-to-date showtimes for all performers.
