Description
Clabough’s Campground – Smoky Mountain Family Camping at its Best!
The Clabough family has spent five generations in Pigeon Forge and much longer in the Smoky Mountain area. Inaugurated in 1981, Harold began construction on the campground in 1980. Gradually he purchased a little additional land. This way he could construct the store that is still open. Then he added Exxon gas and a small deli that both locals and tourists visit.
Approximately 50 acres of the property remain from the original farm. As tourism became more prominent in the Smokies, the Appalachian Mountains experienced significant growth. But the people and their values have mostly remained the same. Run on the same principle from years ago; “you never hurt someone else to help yourself”. Plus, you need just a handful of change to buy ice cream.
Convenient to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville. At Clabough’s Campground, you are just minutes from the Southeast’s largest outlet shopping. With tons of attractions and restaurants to suit every age and interest.
Even though you are only 1/2 mile from the main Parkway in the heart of Pigeon Forge. Shielded from the glow of the city lights, the campsites are protected by a large hill. Still, you feel like you are camping deep in the woods.
Just a stone’s throw away from Wear’s Valley Road (Hwy. 321), Clabough’s provides visitors with convenient access to two natural wonders in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park: Metcalf Bottoms and Cades Cove.
Your adventure in the Smoky Mountains starts at Clabough’s Campground!
