Description
The landmark fine arts and crafts shop in Gatlinburg since 1933, Cliff Dwellers Gallery was built by artist Louis Jones as his studio, gallery and home. The building was moved from the Parkway in downtown to the heart of the Great Smoky Arts and Crafts Community in May 1996. It continues to house both gallery and workshop space as it did for the original owner/builder, Mr. Jones.
The shop is now owned by 4 accomplished and diverse artists. Their artistic pursuits and the 60+ local and regional artists are showcased in this historic building. Walk through the doors of the Cliff Dwellers Gallery and you will immediately see that it lives up to its welcome sign. It is truly “A Most Interesting Place” where the past blends with the present and the line between fine art and crafts is erased.
