We’re always looking for fresh ideas and new perspectives when it comes to the Smoky Mountain area. If you are a resident, avid traveler, or interested in working with us to be one, we’d like to hear from you. By being a contributor, you get the perk of having your own bio and Gravatar-powered avatar that will be displayed in each article you write for us. You’ll also be added to our contributor list.

We only ask you understand the following:

  • Articles must be unique and not posted elsewhere. We want to make sure that MobileBrochure.com is where users will find the awesome content you write! You can promote your article that lives at MobileBrochure.com as much as you want.
  • Provide relevant information that is as error-free as possible. While we will proof your post before it’s published, we want to ensure that readers are getting the best quality content and there aren’t grammatical errors or information about a location that isn’t current.
  • We might adjust the content of your work. Whether we find typos, update wording for better SEO, or add our own tidbits of information, you can be assured that we want to keep your original content as intact as possible.

  • Contributor Agreement

    This sets forth the agreement between Impact Marketing Services (MobileBrochure.com) and the above named regarding your writing a Blog post for MobileBrochure.com.
    1. Content: Subject to the conditions herein, MobileBrochure.com will publish the content that you agree to provide.
    2. Consideration/Grant of Rights/License: In consideration of MobileBrochure.com publishing the Blog, you hereby grant MobileBrochure.com the following non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicenseable, transferable, perpetual and worldwide rights and license in and to each of the Blog:
      1. The right to reproduce, publish, distribute, display and create derivative works of any of the Blog, in whole or in any part, on or in connection with MobileBrochure.com or otherwise.
      2. The right to use your name, likeness or biography and to publish information about you in connection with any of the foregoing rights and uses.
      All foregoing rights extend to any use of any of the Blog in any and all media or format, whether now known or as may hereafter be created, including, but not limited to, all print, other hard copy, digital or electronic media, internet, or wireless or mobile platforms.
    3. Limited Exclusivity Period; Attribution: You will not, and you will not permit any third party to, publish the Blog in any media or format.
    4. Ownership of Intellectual Property Rights: Subject to the rights granted to MobileBrochure.com pursuant to Section 2, you own and retain all intellectual property rights in any and all of the Blog.
    5. Representations and Warranties; Covenants; Indemnification; Conflict of Interest:
      1. You represent and warrant that: (i) you have the full right and authority to enter into this Agreement, (ii) you are or will be the sole author of the Blog, (iii) the Blog will be your own original work, (iv) the Blog does not and will not plagiarize another’s work, (v) the Blog has not, prior to publication on MobileBrochure.com, previously been published by you or any other person in any form, (vi) the Blog has not been assigned, pledge or otherwise encumbered by you or any other person, (vii) the Blog contains no intellectual property owned by any third party or, if it does, you have cleared, at your expense, all rights to use such intellectual property in the Blog for all purposes and rights granted pursuant to Section 2, (viii) the Blog does not contain any libelous, obscene or untrue statements or any material that is deceptive, fraudulent, or intentionally misleading or that invades any right of privacy or personal right of any person, (ix) the Blog and MobileBrochure.com’s use of it in accordance with this Agreement does not infringe upon, violate, or misappropriate any intellectual property right of any third party or any applicable law or regulation, and (x) all statements in the Blog that are asserted as facts are true or based upon research that would reasonably support its accuracy.
      2. Except with the prior written consent of MobileBrochure.com, you will not refer to your association with MobileBrochure.com in connection with any promotion or identification of yourself publicly (other than in connection with the Blog published on MobileBrochure.com), including in any speaking engagements, public appearances, interviews or any other publication. In no event will you use your association with MobileBrochure.com to solicit or accept any services, products or gifts.
      3. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Impact Marketing Services, and its directors, officers, employees, licensees and agents, against any third-party claim, liability, damages, cost or expense, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of any breach or alleged breach by you of any provision of this Agreement.
    6. Right not to Publish and to Edit: Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, MobileBrochure.com, in its sole discretion and for any reason, may choose not to publish the Blog or may, at any time, remove, withdraw, postpone the publication of or edit the Blog, whether in whole or in part.
    7. Relationship of the Parties: Nothing herein shall be construed to create an employer-employee, partnership or agency relationship between Impact Marketing Services and you. You are an independent contractor and not an employee, partner or agent of Impact Marketing Services.
    8. Modification/Assignment: This Agreement contains the entire understanding between MobileBrochure.com and the above named and may not be modified, waived, assigned or discharged except expressly and in a writing signed by both parties. Any assignment of the Agreement in violation of the provision shall be null and void.

    MobileBrochure.com Contributor Guidelines/Code of Conduct

    1. Be conversational – write in clear, jargon-free, non-academic language for a general audience.
    2. Be transparent and truthful. Use your real identity and voice – be authentic.
    3. Don’t hesitate to ask questions from your readers – start a conversation.
    4. Identify and link to sources whenever feasible.
    5. Avoid advertising and self-promotion.
    6. Look for ways to spread the word about the Blog – link to it in your email signature, leverage Twitter, Facebook, and simply talk about it!
