Sugarlands Riding Stables

Enjoy a guided horseback ride inside the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Ride on mountain trails that take you through wilderness areas and mountain streams inside the National Park. You may be fortunate enough to view some of the wildlife such as bear, deer or turkey that makes their home in the National Park.

Rides are great for the beginner and experienced rider.

You may choose a 1 hour, 1 ½ hour, or a 2 hour trail ride. Children must be a minimum of 5 years old to participate in a guided trail ride. There is a maximum weight limit of 225lbs.  Hours are seasonal: 9am to 4 pm spring and fall, 9am to 5pm summer. No reservation required. Large groups (15+) please call ahead.
