The Funplex

The Funplex amusement park offers a big punch in a compact footprint. Seven different attractions are located on the Funplex’s grounds to provide the best experience for thrill seekers of all ages and skill levels. Some for younger thrill-seekers and others for true adrenaline junkies.

Among those rides, there was a lot of excitement on opening day surrounding the new Fun in the Sun Roller Coaster. The unassuming track encircles the perimeter of the park and any kid or kid at heart sitting in the normal cars would find it enjoyable. However, two of the coaster cars are “hamster wheel cars” that spin in a circle on their own all while riders are speeding along the coaster track.

The Funplex offers so much entertainment that you will eventually need to take a break and refuel. There is something for everyone among the assortment of meals and snacks. Grab some tasty sliders, beer, ice margaritas, rum buckets, and wings… If you’re craving something sweet, try our fried Oreos and funnel cakes.
