In May 2012, Helicopter Adventure started sending up its firetruck red birds in earnest, all day, every day, seemingly one after another, from 9 a.m. until the last passenger landed safely, many of whom had crossed out their first helicopter ride from their bucket lists. Locals and tourists alike noticed a noticeable change in the skies over Myrtle Beach. Helicopter Adventures provided a unique opportunity for our founder Mr. Rick to share his joy of helicopter flight.

At Helicopter Adventures, our pilots are true professionals who put your safety and fun first. The support team is available to help you with any of your needs, from inquiries regarding our tours to recommendations for additional activities on the Grand Strand.

Each flight begins with a low-speed tour of the Helicopter Adventure grounds during which the pilot checks all of his controls, including pitch, throttle, antitorque, cyclic pitch, collective pitch, tail rotor operation, and final clearance from the control tower.

Nothing compares to taking a flight over the Grand Strand, where you can see the magnificent beaches, well-known landmarks, and the numerous exquisite golf courses that dot the region from above.
