The Bowery

The Bowery – Ya’ Can’t Beat Fun!

Description

Since its opening in 1944, THE BOWERY in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, has welcomed millions of guests from all over the world with its warm southern hospitality. It is a landmark that is 50 yards from the Atlantic Ocean.

ALABAMA, the country supergroup, served as The Bowery’s house band from 1973 to 1980. They still consider it as their home and perform there frequently throughout the year. Alabama’s 2005 induction into the County Music Hall of Fame sealed The Bowery’s place in musical history.

This iconic honky-tonk from the 1940s transports you to a different time in Myrtle Beach. A time that gave the city its nickname as the “Redneck Riviera”. Confederate flags are almost as prevalent as wall references to Alabama. But country and western music are among the greatest from this side of Nashville.

The Bowery’s menu offers classic bar fare as well as various unique dishes that pair nicely with your drink. Begin your dinner with a delicious starter like nachos, fries, cheese stix, pizza rolls, jalapeƱo poppers, Zack’s pepper jack mac n’ cheese bits, or another scrumptious option.

Try The Eighth Wonder Burger, a 100% Angus beef burger that is prepared in-house. Or try any of the variety of other juicy burgers, chicken wings, specialty sandwich , or a shrimp basket.

The Bowery – “The 8th Wonder of the World” Genuine Southern Hospitality and entertaining millions from all over the globe.
